I just received a a Kreativ Blogger award from artist and art licensing superstar Tara Reed. Thank you Tara!
Tara and I had our first connection as a result of our SEO For Artists program – we had a blast working together on a training call for her art licensing folks. She is amazing – I really recommend you go visit her empire over at Art Licensing Info.
Here is some background info on Kreativ Blogger from Tara’s Post blog post:
Kreativ Blogger originated in May 2008 in a post by Huldas Verden. The Kreativ Blogger award comes with the following requirements:
The Rules
- You must thank the person who has given you the award.
- Copy the logo and place it on your blog.
- Link the person who has nominated you for the award.
- Name 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting.
- Nominate 7 other Kreativ Bloggers.
- Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.

7 things Of Interest About Moi
- I lived in Australian small towns for the first 8 years of my life. At night we often used to lie on the back lawn and watch the stars and look for satellites – it was fun!
- I’d love to own a Tesla Roadster
- I awoke to art when I saw one of Van Gogh’s self portraits in the Musee D’Orsey in 1996. He moved in front of my eyes – really!
- My favorite moments in life all involve nature. Like camping in Glacier national park or listening to the ocean at night in Wailea
- I live for excellent green tea – and prefer it served in nice bone china.
- I feel most at home with people who work with their hands
- I have probably driven about 350,000 miles on various parts of the planet

Love it! Except where did you find your cool Kreativ blogger badge – I have Badge Envy! Could you really see the satellites or was your dad pulling your leg?

I found the badge over at Raw Epicurean http://rawepicurean.net/2009/03/18/kreativ-blogger-award/ however there is some evidence that this is not the original logo. I like it though – glad that you have envy!
And yes – you could really see the satellites! We did not have a television until I was about 10 years old so we used to do all sorts of fun stuff in the evenings. I think it left me poorly-adjusted to life in this television-ruled age though. But that is another story
You could do a youtube about your art licensing empire – based on “The Empire Strikes Back”! You will have to pay me licensing royalties on the idea though
