Artist Website Tip #12 – Know What You Should Pay

Submitted by Daniel on September 16, 2005 – 4:00 pmNo Comment
Artist’s website development prices range from a few hundred to tens of thousands of dollars. Typically, bigger design firms have larger overheads and will be significantly more expensive. On the other hand, Joe down the street can probably build you a website for $200 – but you probably don’t want that website!

Expect to pay anywhere from $1,200 to $2,000 for a simple elegant artist’s website. Remember: your website is the place where all your marketing activities will bring visitors to view your work. Other than your work itself, your website is arguably the most important foundation in building success as an artist, so its’ worth spending the money to do it well.

Don’t miss an opportunity with a mediocre site!
